Who are we?
Atlanta Theater Workshop, Inc. (herein after referred to as ATW) is a nonprofit organization under IRS Code 501(c)(3) established exclusively for public educational, cultural, and charitable uses and purposes. More specifically, the Corporation is organized and operates for the purpose of research, cultivating and practicing theater, filmmaking, music and dance.
ATW maintains strict data privacy policies to protect the integrity and privacy of personal information gathered from our members, donor, business partners, volunteers, supporters and visitors through all of our communication channels, as well as from visitors to our Website and those who make payments through our website.
ATW does not sell, exchange or rent your personal information to any organization or individual. We will not divulge personal information to any other organization or individual other than that necessary to transact, fulfill and or account for online payments that you have authorized.
ATW does not share your information with telemarketing centers. We do not use telephone marketing to solicit funds. ATW will only use your phone number if we need to verify information or to thank you for your contribution, ask for your opinion, request your assistance, or to share time-sensitive information, such as an emergency meeting.
What information do we collect?
When you make a payment, subscribe to our mailing list, attend an event or volunteer with ATW, we may ask for information such as your name, address, email address, phone number and other relevant information.
How do we use your information?
ATW uses personally identifiable information you provide about yourself:
- To process your payments
- To send you a receipt for your payments
- To send you a thank you note for making a payment/donation, sponsoring an event or volunteering.
- To respond to your questions or comments about ATW
- To send you additional information about ATW plays, activities and events that may interest you.
ATW uses non-identifying basic information (aggregate data) to analyze site use and to improve the content and design of the site. ATW may share aggregate data such as how many people attended an event, number of volunteers, average donation amount etc. with sponsors and partners. These statistics will not include any personally identifying information.
ATW provides multiple ways to opt out of receiving additional information from us about the our plays and events. You can uncheck the boxes or select the option “No” when such information is collected.
You can also opt out of the email updates by clicking the “unsubscribe” button at the bottom of each email or contacting us directly.
Do Not Track
If you enable the Do Not Track setting in your browser, we won’t record your visit to our website and the third-party cookies on our pages will be disabled.
ATW is committed to ensuring that any personal information we collect is secure. Our website use Transport Layer Security (TLS), the standard security technology for establishing an encrypted link between a web server and a browser to ensure data passed between the web server and browsers remain private. All online payments are handled by Payment Card Industry (PCI)-compliant vendors. PCI refers to the technical and operational standards that businesses must follow to ensure that credit card data provided by cardholders is protected.
Credit Card Security
When you make a payment to ATW online, your credit card information is secured by a reputable security company. Also, your credit card number is used only for that particular transaction and is not stored. If you allow us to store your credit card or bank information for future use such as recurring donation, such information will be stored by the payment services financial institution. ATW only uses financial institutions that adhere to the industry standards for storing such information.
The security measures we take may not prevent all loss, misuse or alteration of information on the site. ATW is not responsible for any damages or liabilities relating to such security failures. Unauthorized third parties may access data and communications, including email, when communicated via the Internet. ATW web site includes links to other web sites. ATW cannot ensure the privacy practices of other such sites.
